On a working farm in the Duntisbourne Valley, this charming cottage is surrounded by some of the Cotswolds' most unspoilt countryside. We think it's a great choice for couples, with a copper bathtub in the bedroom and a private hot tub on the terrace. The garden is shared with the cottage next door and is fully enclosed, making it suitable for pets and little ones. You'll need a car here to explore the surrounding Duntisbourne villages, and Cirencester and Cotswold Water Park are just four miles away.

Home truths

There is space to park outside this home. Due to its location, we recommend hiring a car to get the most out of your stay.

Your host can provide a free cot and high chair if you're travelling with little ones. You'll need to request these in advance.

The fully-enclosed garden is shared with another holiday cottage – there is a wall to separate the two terraces, but it may not feel fully private.

This home is on a working farm, so you may hear some outside noise during your stay and you may bump into farm animals on the grounds.

You'll need to climb stairs here to reach the dining room and the bedroom.

There is a bathtub in the bedroom, but also a separate shower in the bathroom for privacy.

"We have used Plum Guide a few times and have always found the places we stayed and the Plum Guide service excellent from start to finish. Recently we rented an apartment in Venice. The apartment was perfect for our needs - well appointed, comfortable beds, right number of bathrooms, lovely kitchen and living areas. The location was also perfect for us - quiet neighbourhood but close to everything - quick access to 2 vaparetto stops and easy walks to almost everywhere Plum Guide service was, as usual, excellent"

About The Cotswolds

Think of an idyllic English countryside scene – rolling hills, honey-coloured cottages, thatched pubs – and chances are, you’re imagining the Cotswolds. Designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1966, this bucolic region that stretches across six counties – including Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire – is known for its whimsy and treacly pace of life.
