You’ll also have an attractive living room to enjoy, and a balcony where you can watch the world go by. This apartment is perfect for a family or group of friends. 

City Sun

With an address in one of Madrid's hippest neighbourhoods, this home is ideal for cool cats. Some fantastic cultural attractions, such as La Casa Encendida and the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía, are within walking distance. San Fernando Market is nearby, too, so you can pick up some local ingredients to cook some tapas back at this home. Okay, the kitchen is compact, but it has everything you need. What strikes us most with this apartment is its lofty ceilings and huge windows, creating a feeling of space and light. Overall, it's a great place for a Madrid adventure. 

City-Break Oasis

There are plenty of tourist attractions within walking distance of this home. Go for riverside walks at the Parque Madrid Rio nearby, or visit the zoo and amusement park at Casa de Campo. Other places of interest include the Royal Palace and La Almudena Cathedral. There are plenty of eateries to sample, too, or head back to this apartment and cook some tapas dishes. All in all, we'd say this home is ideal for a business professional, solo traveller or couple.

You can go for riverside walks at the nearby Parque Madrid Rio when you stay at this apartment. Or have a stroll around Casa de Campo, home to a zoo and amusement park. This home is ideal for a couple, solo traveller or business professional looking for a great address.

Plump in the centre of Madrid, this pad in the vibrant Chueca neighbourhood is perfect for solo travellers, remote workers or a couple. This bright space is perfect for unwinding after a day of sightseeing in El Retiro – share coffees around the breakfast bar and catch up on emails when work is on the agenda. While the design is minimalistic, the advantage of having two bathrooms ensures a smooth start to your mornings before a busy day. Salamanca’s boutiques offer the perfect excuse for some sartorial browsing, and if you're hoping to see an exhibition, you can walk to Museo Nacional del Prado.

Chueca Charms

This apartment is within walking distance of an array of attractions, such as Parque Madrid Rio, Casa de Campo, the Royal Palace and La Almudena Cathedral. Of course, there are plenty of dining options to discover in the area, too. The apartment has a desk if you need to catch up on emails and a well-equipped kitchen for making some tapas. We have to say, we love the main bedroom with its dressing room and en-suite. This home is a great choice whether you’re here for leisure or work.

Metropolitan Magic

Those seeking a central location will love this modern apartment next to Madrid’s Plaza Mayor. With endless tapas bars and cultural landmarks on your doorstep, you’ll need only walk a few steps off your doorstep – though if you feel like taking public transport, Callao metro station is a short walk away. Back home, the terrace feels like a sanctuary away from the bustle of the city, and the interiors boast plenty of natural light. The bedrooms are comfortable and minimal, though the pull-out in the second bedroom might not be for every guest. That said, the stellar locale and mod cons are everything you’d want from a city stay.

Sangria & Sun

This apartment is located on iconic Sevilla Street, right in the heart of Madrid. You’ve got all the city’s must-sees, including Museo del Prado, Palacio Real, and Plaza Mayor, on your doorstep. And if you want to venture further afield, Sevilla metro station is at the end of the road. Most of the windows in the home are skylights so you won’t get much of a view from here, but the open-plan living space has everything you’ll need, including a handy breakfast bar and comfortable lounge area. The second bedroom is very cosy – we think it’s best suited to a child or someone travelling light.

Madrid's Urban Elegance

Nestled in the Salamanca district with easy access to the metro for hopping around Madrid, this apartment is an ideal base for a couple or family. Comfortable for four people, just bear in mind that at full occupancy, two guests will be sleeping on the sofa bed in the living room. And while we think the kitchenette is better suited to light bites rather than Spanish feasts, with a plethora of eateries on your doorstep, you’re never far away from a spot of tapas and sangria for dinner. 

Aqua Haven

With Calle Gran Vía close by, this home will definitely appeal to shopaholics. You'll also find plenty of amazing restaurants and bars in the vicinity. Attractions within walking distance include Plaza Canovas del Castillo with its Fountain of Neptune and vibrant La Plaza de Chueca. Back at this apartment, we love the French doors that open out onto Juliet balconies. There's a separate, compact but well-equipped kitchen for creating some tasty tapas, too. This home is ideal for couples or business travellers seeking an elegant base in a fantastic location.

Heart of Madrid Haven

Location is all important for city breaks, and this apartment has a winning location. It’s in the heart of La Latina, one of the most traditional neighbourhoods in Madrid. You’ll be just a short stroll from Puerta del Sol and Plaza Mayor and will have your pick of bars, restaurants, and cafes nearby. This comes in particularly handy because there’s not a huge amount of space for socialising in the apartment – but you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable place to rest your head. 

La Latina's Heart

With a fantastic address, just off the Paseo de la Castellana, this apartment has a wealth of attractions nearby. The upmarket districts of Salamanca, Chamberi and Justicia are all close, so you'll have plenty of fine restaurants, chic boutiques and art galleries to enjoy. With one of Madrid's main avenues on your doorstep, the slight downside is you will hear some street noise here, but it's easily fixed with some earplugs if you're a light sleeper. We have to say, we love the views over Plaza Villa de París from this home. The kitchen is well-equipped, so you can cook some homemade meals or let your host arrange a private chef to create some of your favourite tapas dishes.
