If you’re looking for the independence and privacy of a self-catering villa but crave all the luxuries of a five-star hotel, this is the spot for you. On the coast of Corfu, this villa sits within a luxury resort with the biggest hotel spa on the island, so you know you’re in for a treat. Guests here have access to the resort’s private slice of beach, lined with cabana beds and home to a beach club. Restaurants, a fitness centre, shops and conference rooms all on-site means you don’t have to leave the complex to reach everything you need. But if you do fancy a day trip, the enchanting narrow streets of Corfu Town are just nine miles away. At the villa itself, you’ve got a private swimming pool which seems to hang off the hillside, looking out over the endless Aegean Sea. Loungers line the wooden decking and there’s an alfresco dining area on the shaded veranda – perfect for sundowners. It feels zen-calm inside with ink-black prints on pristine white walls and glass double doors opening up onto the terrace from the living room. A Scandi-chic dining table can fit the whole group, and there’s a galley-style full kitchen with super sleek appliances if you’re not ordering dinner to the villa from one of the myriad restaurants within the resort. We love the light-filled bedrooms which look out to the pool terrace, and the deep blue sea in the background.
