A repurposed train carriage, this neat cabin near the Cotswolds town of Cirencester is perfect for a few days out in the country. The cabin aesthetic is a nice touch, and we were fond of the deck overlooking a donkey paddock – a great spot for supper after an afternoon hike. As with the rest of the home, the bathroom is small but has everything you need to freshen up. We think the home is also suitable for remote working, although on rainy or cold days that'll involve working on the sofa.

"We had a lovely couple of nights in the hut this past weekend. It was cozy and well-equipped, and Kate’s instructions made it really easy to get in and find everything we needed. We’d been a bit worried about noise from the nearby road when we first arrived, but this very much settled down at night and didn’t bother us. The only downside (and not to be helped!) was that there were quite a few wasps around which made it difficult to eat outside, but we persevered regardless, and the pond and nearby donkeys made it feel like a proper escape from the city.Thank you for a lovely stay and we’d be sure to recommend it to anyone for a slightly different weekend away!"

"Nice little place! The motorway is very close is the only thing. Which is good and bad, but if you’re after total peace and quiet then maybe not quite."
