Turquoise Bay Retreat

This romantic one-bedroom bolthole is a perfect choice for couples who want to relax and enjoy each other's company. It offers a sense of privacy and seclusion as well as far-reaching views of the garden and beyond. The property benefits from an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The main swimming pool lends itself to those who like to do a few lengths before breakfast. Glass doors lead inside to the open-plan kitchen, living, and sitting area, which is well-appointed with all the amenities you would expect in a modern villa. The interior has floor-to-ceiling glass doors on two sides of the room, one side opens onto the garden and outside pool terrace, while the other opens onto the inside pool. The bedroom features an enormous round bed and floor-to-ceiling glass doors on two sides of the room. Islamlar village offers breathtaking panoramic views from every aspect and provides visitors with a genuine taste of rural Turkish village life. Kalkan town is just 15 minutes down the road, offering excellent choices of elegant roof-terraced restaurants.

The Myrtle Shade

Nestled into the hillside, this villa is a true Turkish delight. Secluded enough to afford you privacy, yet close enough to the charming rural town of Akyaka for a spot of shopping, dining or a day at the beach, this hidden gem welcomes you in with open arms. We love the vaulted ceilings and exposed beams – the whole indoor space dances with natural light. The floor-to-ceiling wall of glass in the living area frames the view of the Gulf of Gokova so perfectly, you feel as though you could be looking at a painting. That very view will soon draw you outdoors, where you can soak it in as the sun warms your skin. 

As eagles soar in the sky above, enjoy a refreshing dip in the infinity pool – swim up to the edge and you can fully appreciate the beauty of nature surrounding you. Alfresco dining is a must here, so light the barbecue and as evening rolls around, settle down to watch the sunset over dinner. The view, the colours in the sky, and the company of your loved ones will send you to bed feeling completely content. 

A Picture of Tranquillity

Private plunge pool, fun-filled games room, panoramic Mediterranean views – this villa truly has it all. Despite the quirky layout (and multiple staircases), we think you'll love calling this place home. There's a relaxing Jacuzzi in the top-floor main suite, a Finnish sauna on the first level, and sea views from practically every room. There are two lounges – each with a kitchen – giving you the choice to socialise together or enjoy some alone time. Even the location is ideal. Kalkan is just 2 kilometres away, putting the beach, shops, and restaurants within easy reach.

Turquoise Retreat

Nestled at the foot of the Taurus Mountains, this contemporary hideaway offers beautiful views and the perfect setting for a restorative group getaway. Located between Fethiye and Olu Deniz, you’ll find it’s just a 5-kilometre drive to the nearest beach, while the nearest supermarket is just 500 metres away. Outside, leisurely days can be spent lounging by the pool – which also includes an integrated Jacuzzi. There is a shaded terrace with a barbecue and you’ll find plenty of space across the three floors to relax and unwind. Each of the rooms has a balcony – making it easy to sit back and admire the views. 

Misty Valley View

This home may be in the sunny climes of southern Turkey, but it’s got all the rustic charm of an Alpine cabin. It’s not a world away from the Alps in terms of scenery with the mountains of Islamlar rising up around you – this place is perfect for those that like to lace up their hiking boots to tackle the great outdoors on an epic walk. From the terrace, you’ve got sweeping views down to the nearby town of Kalkan which you can enjoy from the cool of the main pool or from the bubbling, overflow Jacuzzi. There’s plenty of room on the wooden decking for lounging in the sun or relaxing with a cold drink on one of the lounge chairs. Plus, there’s a ping pong table for a friendly tournament. 

It’s like you’ve got your own spa here with an indoor swimming pool and wood-clad Jacuzzi bath in the big window of the main bedroom. Really indulge yourself with a session in the sauna or embrace Turkish tradition in the full hammam with its stone basins harking back to the Ottoman era. Inside, it’s all knotted pine with an A-frame roof like a Swiss chalet. The plush living room is separated from the kitchen by a wooden breakfast bar – perfect for your morning Turkish coffees.  

Lycian Daydream

There aren't many villas within walking distance of a ghost town, but that's what makes this one stand out. Abandoned in 1923, Kayaköy's crumbling stone houses and rocky terrain is equal parts eye-catching and eerie – how's that for your neighbour? Of course, spooky villages aren't all on offer here. There's a smattering of restaurants nearby, Oludeniz Beach is reachable in twenty minutes and lively nightlife awaits in Hisaronu, just 5km away. 

Back home, you'll be tempted to spend every spare second in the garden. How could you not, with a dazzling pool beckoning on sunny afternoons? Following your dip, grab a book and snuggle up in the swing, then head inside when it's time for dinner. Double-height ceilings give the living area a grand feeling, which only adds to the sociable atmosphere. We love that the whole group can chill out, cook and converse together in one breezy space. But our favourite spot of all is the main suite upstairs. Lavish circular bed, bubbling Jacuzzi bathtub and private balcony? We'll take it.

A Forgotten Time

Nestled near the sleepy Kaya village and boasting magnificent valley views, this home has everything you need for a peaceful getaway. Enjoy days of sunning yourself on the loungers and floating in the calm, clear waters of the private pool. Dig into home-cooked meals alfresco, whether prepared on the barbecue or down in the fully-equipped kitchen, and clink glasses in the evening under the pergola after a busy day.

Whether you're exploring the dramatic Kayakoy Ghost Town and its ruins, driving down to Cold Water Bay for a day on the sands, or lacing up your hiking boots to soak in the surrounding natural beauty, this home is situated perfectly. Hop on a boat to Oludeniz and go jet skiing, or immerse yourself in local life in the traditional and beautiful town of Fethiye, where you can dine on delectable local cuisine and explore ancient ruins. In the evening, you'll have the best seat in the house to watch the sunset from the rooftop.

Off to the Valley

There’s something incredibly romantic about standing at the edge of an infinity pool and looking out over sweeping views of Turkey’s Turquoise Coast. In this home, perched in the verdant green hills of Kalkan, you’ll experience that joy and tranquillity for yourself as you wade into the crystalline waters every day. Killing two birds with one stone, you’ll not only cool down in the sizzling Mediterranean heat but also feel the last dregs of stress melt away at the sight of that vista. 

Behind you, on the terrace, is where you can enjoy sunbathing in one of the loungers or playing table tennis between alfresco meals at the patio table. Bookworms can nestle into the egg chair with a novel until it’s time to light the barbecue for a grilled lunch.

Understanding how hard it would be to leave the oceanviews behind, the floor-to-ceiling windows ensure that you can keep your eyes trained on the horizon even when you’re enjoying a dip in the heated indoor pool. Next to it is where you’ll find the sauna – a perfect way to start the day with a serotonin boost. 

Walk to the beach and visit the Kalkan market every Thursday. Take boat trips, find the ruins of amphitheatres and enjoy drinks at one of the local bars. 

Key to the Turquoise Coast

There’s a lot to love about this traditional farmhouse. Its 300-year history is reflected in the stone walls, wooden beams, and fireplace, while the ornate furnishings add a splash of Turkish opulence. But really, it’s the view that steals the show here. Whether you’re reading in the rocking chair on the terrace or swimming in the huge infinity pool, you’re treated to expansive views across Kaya Valley and the abandoned village of Kayaköy. It’s undoubtedly something special. 

From the traditional rugs to the friendly nature of your host, the spirit of authentic Turkey is felt everywhere here. Take in the mountain views from your bedroom balcony, savouring a Turkish coffee for the full experience. Bask in the natural surroundings by the pool, flickering between daydreaming while taking in the pretty view and reading your book. 

If you never wanted to leave this oasis in the lush valley, we’d get it. But a short walk through the countryside will take you to the atmospheric Kayaköy – an absolute must-see. If you like walking, you’re in the right place – follow the Lycian Way from Kayaköy to remote, unspoiled beaches. For busier beach days, you’re a twenty-minute drive from the famous Blue Lagoon in Ölüdeniz.

Love of the Valley

Situated within walking distance of Kalmar Bay and the shops, restaurants and cafes of Kalkan, this villa is ideal for a family or group of friends travelling together. Outside is a swimming pool for keeping cool when you’re not at the beach and a dining area with a barbecue. You’ll also find a furnished roof terrace offering views of the Taurus Mountains. Inside, each bedroom has access to a balcony, and the kitchen is well-appointed for home cooking.

Only a ten-minute drive from the centre of Kalkan, you'll be within easy reach of its postcard harbour setting, many rooftop restaurants and laid-back beach clubs, as well as weekly markets and an array of artisan boutiques. Beyond Kalkan, why not head inland to discover the nearby mountain villages of Islamar, Saribelen and Bezirgan for example? It's hidden corners like these that will give you a true taste of Turkey, with tiny village shops selling authentic, fresh fare such as rose-water Turkish Delight, organic tea leaves and scented spices.
